Hi:
Probably it is no longer supported on the newer builds of W10.
Since your notebook has a BIOS whitelist that blocks the installation of any other model wifi adapter, replacing the internal card is not an option.
You can purchase a USB dual band wifi adapter.
This model is rather small and also comes with Bluetooth.
You can also try this W8 driver for the R8188CE card and see if that works.

Thanks Paul - i thought this was the issue as I recognized the “can’t connect to this network” as i had the identical issue last year with my HP D110 wireless printer after an a win10 update - HP’s response was “sorry Charlie” plug it in or buy a new printer - nice way to treat your customer’s. Thanks again for the prompt, professional and helpful response. KevinMI

UPDATE: Paul the Driver update you provided worked on very first install and thru multiple sleep & restart cycles - the true test was the Wi-Fi was already auto connected & showing the broadcast icon at the initial log in screen! Much appreciated my friend.
P.S. I also ordered the USB Wi-Fi/BT mini card from Amazon for backup - KevinM

That is great news, Kevin.
Glad the W8 driver worked for you.
Most likely when you upgraded the PC to W10, it carried over the W7 driver which quit working.
Hopefully, the W8 driver will last for the rest of W10's lifecycle.
You can always use that nifty little USB adapter on any PC--notebook or desktop.
