I met Sam at #resetconnect at the end of June. I was really impressed by her and what her business is doing. They are working on ways to recycle the advanced materials / composites used by the world’s militaries. While these organisations might not jump to mind in topic of sustainability, they are big, influential, large-budget holders that are acutely aware of our planetary resource shortages and the impact on global security. Helping them tackle their approach to waste and sustainability will have massive impact. Moreover, think how many materials and products do you use in your life that were ‘spun out’ from military developments? There is a long history of technologies and processes developed for military customers becoming ubiquitous. Just think ARPANET, duct tape, superglue and even sanitary pads! Imagine the down-stream benefits to the wider world if there were great institutional examples of circularity and re-lifing materials coming from some of the biggest users of advanced and (currently wasteful) materials. Key Responsibilities:0. GHG Inventorization and Decarbonization Strategies te Industries:Lead the development and execution of GHG inventories (Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3) for CAAPL's clients, ensuring accurate data collection, quality assurance of information, and reporting as per best industry standards. Provide expertise in identifying emission reduction opportunities, mid- and long-term decarbonization strategy and implementing sustainable practices.C. ESG Reporting and Sustainability Reports:Manage the preparation of ESG reports aligning with global reporting frameworks and standards. viz.
